BOWRAVILLE Central School’s “150 Years Celebration” will be held on Friday, 14 November.
Celebrating the education of local students since 1875, visitors are invited to the school from 9:30am, with a smoking ceremony opening proceedings from 10am.
An official assembly will follow, including the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, cake cutting, student performances, special guests and the sealing of a time capsule.
Also on offer on the day are guided school tours, photo displays and memorabilia.
Free face painting, balloon art and much more will be available for the kids, with food and coffee vans set up for parents to enjoy.
A drone shot capturing the whole school and visitors will also be taken to mark the occasion.
Tallowood Steiner School students will offer a maypole demonstration, before the day ends with a kids disco from 2:30pm.
