EXPRESSIONS of Interest (EOIs) are now open for the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership (CBP) Grants Program, with up to $450,000 available for projects in each electorate.
Oxley Michael Kemp and Coffs Harbour MP Gurmesh Singh are urging local community groups, councils and not-for-profit organisations to take advantage of the funding opportunity and put forward projects that will strengthen local communities.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our local organisations to secure funding for projects that make a real, lasting difference,” Mr Kemp said.
“The CBP program consistently delivers for our region by improving facilities, supporting local groups, and helping build stronger, more connected communities.”
Mr Singh said the program is also about helping to provide the infrastructure to support “more vibrant and more inclusive communities”.
The statewide program is investing $41 million in 2026 to support community infrastructure projects, with grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 available for individual initiatives.
Eligible projects include capital works such as the construction, refurbishment or maintenance of community facilities, as well as the purchase of equipment and vehicles that directly benefit the community.
The 2026 round will be delivered through a new two-stage application process, beginning with an EOI.
EOIs close at 5pm on Friday, 8 May 2026.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the end of June 2026, with successful projects to be announced in early 2027.
“I strongly encourage all eligible groups to put their hand up and apply,” Mr Kemp said.
