THREE gravel roads in Valla are in the sights of a grading team, with work on the roads scheduled for completion between mid-August and September.
Residents and travellers near Boggy Creek, Valla and Mitchells roads can expect some minor delays during the next fortnight as work is completed.
The five-person crew tasked with maintenance of the Valley’s unsealed roads will grade the road surfaces, clear stormwater pipes of debris and remove unstable material from embankments.
Workers recently finished grading Graces and Dyers Loop roads, in Argents Hill, and during the past week their focus has been on a four-kilometre stretch of North Arm Road.
“Council’s dedicated five-personnel grading team have been working hard this year to level and maintain gravel roads across the Nambucca Valley,” Nambucca Valley Council (NVC) acting general manager David Moloney.
You can let Council know about the condition of an unsealed road by downloading and using a free mobile phone app called Antenno. The app will let you take a photo of a section of unsealed road and send it through. Alternatively, you can call Council on 6568 2555.
