THE Latham family sponsored final round of the men’s Club championships was played on Saturday with a new name for the honour board.
After 54 holes Glen Baker sacrificed his lead to take his four talented children to a state run two day golf tournament at Maclean and Yamba. This resulted in the A grade title opening up for the remaining players.
Mick Manning , after four steady rounds came out in front of 30 + times winner Allan Clarke who was runner up on a count back from Rama Gennat.
In B grade Jeff Gore had four solid rounds to win from Neil Cunneen.
To round up the titles Ron McDonald overcome early leader Peter Joyce to win C grade.
The ladies also finished their Championships over 54 holes with Jo Montegue coming in for a one stroke win over Nikki Laird. Anne Antcliffe was the Net winner.
The Mid Week competition saw B grade champion Jeff Gore have his second win for the week with Chris Cuthbertson finishing runner up.
