INSPIRED by the romance and energy of 1930s Paris, Django Lingo brings Gypsy Jazz to life.
Guitarists Terry Murray and David Ash combine with Slim Pickens on double bass to capture the spirit of legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt, delivering driving rhythms, rich bass lines, spirited improvisation and infectious swing.
Ash is known for his outstanding musicianship and engaging live performances.
Pickens is an experienced Australian blues and roots player shaped by years across blues, rockabilly and vintage styles.
A professional musician from the age of 11, Murray’s career spans decades across the UK and Australia. Having performed at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, he has also shared stages with Tom Jones, Randy Crawford, The Four Tops, Tommy Emmanuel, Marcia Hines, Keith Urban and Doug Parkinson.
From smoky jazz standards to vintage swing tunes, Django Lingo offers an authentic and elegant live experience.
