THIS is a big shoutout to the people in the town of Macksville.
My husband and I were travelling through, towing our caravan, when our car would not start.
A lovely lady named Val came to our rescue and put us in touch with a local mechanic, Trent, who went out of his way to help us.
He even towed our caravan to the tourist park.
Other people stopped to offer assistance, including Neville and the very understanding gentleman at the Ampol service station where we were stranded.
Our car has now been fixed in Coffs Harbour.
We were overwhelmed by all the kindness shown to us in Macksville and wanted to pass on our appreciation.
