AUTHENTIC to a lasting convention, the Stuarts Point Men’s Shed celebrated their 2025 initiatives and projects with a festive season luncheon on Saturday, 6 December.
Members and guests dined at a well-appointed long table in the Shed, enjoying an abundance of fresh prawns, salads, roast chickens, leg ham and an impressive collection of desserts including home-made ice cream.
Member George Driussi said the year had been a successful one.
“Our 2025 projects included the assembly and sale of more picnic tables, now in situ, ready for use at the holiday park; ongoing recycling enterprises and commissions; and the establishment of a recyclable collection system, a regular collection of waste drinking container items (cans).”
The popular Men’s Shed invites new members to their expansive location on Fishermans Reach Road, which is open weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
They also welcome the public to visit and peruse the stock of refurbished/repaired goods for sale.
