OUR country has chosen to die.
Unrealised by most people, Australia is suffering from a terminal disease called Renewables-Only Net Zero, and we have just refused the only treatment that may have cured it.
We now continue a slow but inevitable decline towards a debilitating death, a decline which to many may not be immediately obvious, but will, and is, happening nonetheless.
Governing Australia will now become an exercise in palliative care.
The Liberal coalition is guilty of not energetically and forcefully promoting their Nuclear power and gas reservation policies, the only paths to a better low-emissions future, and of not exposing the lies and delusions of Labor’s renewables-only policies.
I am angry that Australia’s only hope of a prosperous future has now been squandered by culpably ignorant and incompetent politicians of all persuasions, and I am immensely sad and worried for the generations to come.
