ALTHOUGH a few got wet shirts, Saturday’s Midway Trailer and Storage sponsored 4 Ball Best Ball event drew a good field .
Convincing winners were Jessica and Peter Lambert with Carla and Adam Ross runners up.
While Carla has been a regular amongst the winners in recent weeks it was Jessica who had the best score on the day.
Nearest the pins went to Mick Manning in Division 1 and Robert Townsend in Div 2.
Harry Andrews hit form again winning the Mid Week Competition from Jeff Gore.
On Tuesday the ladies Stroke event was won by Sally Roberts with Desma Hughes finishing runner up.
Straight shooters with nearest the pins were Sharon Howlett on the 3rd and Helen Ferraro the 8th.
The popular Chook Run saw Graham Everett return to the winners circle,beating Virginia Joyce on a count back.
With the win costing Graham a loss of 4 shots from his handicap it will take some good Golf to see his name in lights again soon.
Nearest the pins went to Rod Curtis and Graham Everett.
