AFTER weeks in the doldrums Roy Rudner made a welcome return to form showing the way with a four under par 40 points to win the Patrick Ward Pharmacy sponsored Stableford on Saturday. Mal Lamb and Bec Spear both finished with net 39 points, Mal securing the runner up spot on a count back.
The straight shooters with nearest the pins were Dane Luffman (A), Steve Hoskins (B) and Steve Hunt (C grade).
Not only is Nikki Laird a renowned big hitter on Tuesday she excelled with her accuracy. Not satisfied with winning the Stroke event she also won nearest the pins on the 3rd and 17th holes. The only thing she didn’t win was runner up, which went to Nambucca’s Dianne O’Leary.
The Mid Week competition went to Garry Clarke with Bec Spear having another good round to finish runner up.
