Coffs Harbour teen Charlotte Bunny named in 2026 All Australian Women’s Football Team

COFFS Harbour student Charlotte Bunny has been named in the 2026 All Australian Women’s Football Team following her standout performance at the National Championships in Melbourne.

This prestigious national honour places Charlotte, who is a Bishop Druitt College (BDC), among the nation’s top young footballers.

As a junior, Charlotte played for Boambee FC. She now plays for North Coast Football in the Premier Youth League.

Charlotte’s potential has been on the radar of national talent scouts for several years.

She has previously been selected for the Northern NSW squad and participated in the Junior Matildas talent identification program in Melbourne.

During a coaching session led by former Matildas two years ago, several Australian players immediately identified her talent, noting she possessed all the attributes to one day wear the green and gold as a future Matilda.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Charlotte serves as a BDC School Leader for 2026/27 and is recognised across the school community for her leadership, resilience, and academic commitment.

Charlotte’s selection continues Bishop Druitt College’s strong tradition of supporting student-athletes in balancing elite sporting pathways alongside senior academic studies through its High Performance Program.

Bishop Druitt College Head of High Performance, Nat Titcume, praised Charlotte’s dedication and work ethic.

“Charlotte has earned every opportunity through years of commitment and perseverance,” Ms Titcume said.

“She has always been willing to do the extra work, learn from every experience, and led by example.

“Her resilience has never been questioned, and this recognition is a reflection of the outstanding person and athlete she has become.

“We have no doubt this is just another step towards an exciting future in football, and we look forward to seeing her represent Australia on the world stage.”
