STUART Point Holiday Markets were held after Christmas on Sunday 28 December and enjoyed by a steady stream of locals and visiting holidaymakers.
The markets will also be held on Sunday 11 January from 10am to 2pm to support the local Community Op Shop.
Market organisers told News Of The Area, “We have an awesome array of food trucks and stalls combined with fabulous live music [and] entertainment all coming together in the Stuarts Point Riverfront Reserve…”
Word quickly spread, with families, friends and children bringing chairs and picnic rugs to relax and enjoy their brunch purchases.
Crowds also enjoyed entertainment from centre stage, delivered by Lily Hallawell and her backing crew.
The intrepid team from the local Community Op Shop, located at 42 Ocean Ave Stuarts Point, set up a well-appointed stall.
A spokesperson for the Op Shop said, “We are sharing an exclusive selection of men’s, ladies and children’s clothing.
“Some nice glassware and decorative items and we have local home baker Natalia’s sourdough bread and other home-made items, all at reasonable prices to support our local op shop and community house and we’ll be back on Sunday 11 January with fresh new stock.”
Stuarts Point Holiday Markets information can be seen on their Facebook page.
