New destination website and guide book promotion free for Nambucca Valley visitor economy businesses

THE Nambucca Valley’s new tourism destination brand, Go Deeper, is set to be broadcast across print and digital channels, and businesses associated with the region’s visitor economy are invited to be a part of it.

Nambucca Valley Council Manager Economic Development and Tourism Jan Rooney says Council’s tourism team has an expression of interest out currently for local visitor economy and hospitality businesses, health and wellness providers, retail outlets, photographers and creatives, who want to be featured in a new destination website and guide book.

“Council’s tourism team and our amazing volunteers at the Visitor Information Centre have kicked some goals this year by completing a new destination brand for the valley: Go Deeper,” she said.

“Now we’re talking the next major steps to cement our destination brand, which is creating the products from which to showcase our valley’s amazing places, its history and culture, tourism businesses, and the unique experiences it offers.

“We want to partner with local visitor economy businesses, photographers and creatives to deliver the new website and guidebook, because after all, our community are the people who can best tell our valley’s story as they are already living it and loving it.”

The destination website and guidebook are products to showcase the entire valley, and the new assets are being put together by a professional design agency, specialising in destination marketing.

To be involved, businesses should email information and high-res photos to tourism@nambucca.nsw.gov.au and discuss the opportunity with Council’s Tourism Coordinator Erica Foley.

If submitting imagery, please include a photo caption and the photographer’s name.

A professional design agency will go through the community’s submissions and decide what content is ultimately included.

Content must be submitted before 25 September 2026.

Council hopes the new destination website and guide book will be ready to go for the busy summer holiday period or in early 2027.
