Macksville Sea Eagles continue Group 2 winning run

THE Macksville Sea Eagles and Woolgoolga Seahorses have been victorious during Round 11 of the Group 2 Rugby League season.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses gutted out an 18-14 win against the Grafton Ghosts in Grafton, consolidating second spot on the ladder and snapping a three-game losing streak.

The Macksville Sea Eagles continued their winning run with their fifth straight victory, a 32-22 win at home against the South Grafton Rebels.

The win saw the Sea Eagles move into third spot on the ladder.

Reserves

The Coffs Harbour Comets won their local derby against the ladder-leading Sawtell Panthers, 22-20.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses maintained second spot on the ladder with a 26-6 win against the Grafton Ghosts.

The Macksville Sea Eagles smashed the South Grafton Rebels, 68-6.

Women’s

The Coffs Harbour Comets maintained their top four position with a 24-4 win against the Sawtell Panthers.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses and Grafton Ghosts shared the points in a 16-16 draw.

Under 18s

The Sawtell Panthers prevailed 16-4 against the Coffs Harbour Comets, consolidating second spot on the ladder.

The Grafton Ghosts had a 30-4 win against the Woolgoolga Seahorses.

Round 12

The Group 2 Rugby League season continues this weekend with Round 12 matches.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses host the Nambucca Roosters to kick off the round on Saturday afternoon.

Ladder leaders the Sawtell Panthers host the third-placed Macksville Sea Eagles in the match of the round at Rex Hardaker Oval.

The Coffs Harbour Comets host the Grafton Ghosts on Sunday afternoon at Geoff King Motors Oval.
