WORTHY of early mention is the achievements of Chloe Baker. The trophy she is holding is her award for winning the ladies open Championships at South West Rocks Golf Club, a terrific achievement for an 11 year old .
Chloe is a member of both SouthWest Rocks and Macksville Golf Clubs , plays off a Golf Association handicap of 8.8.
She is a member of Matt Baker’s Swamp Rats coaching classes .
Obviously golf is the family sport as her brother won the men’s B grade Championship.
The Saturday Stableford, sponsored by Macksville Auto Services was won by Matt Baker with Roy Rudner finishing runner up. Second runner up Jim Wilkes maintaining his consistent form.
Nearest the pins went to Matt Baker (A), C Gannge (B) and Brian King in (C grade).
The ladies played a foursome with Jo Montague and Rhonda McAuliffe finishing ahead of runners up Desma Hughes and Carmel Fruedenstein.
The ladies again featured in the Mid Week Competition with Jessica Lambert ahead Of Carla Ross. Jim Wilkes scored his second runner for the week.
