SATURDAY the Allan Clarke sponsored four person Ambrose attracted over 70 players and featured more asides than most competitions, including nearest the pin on all greens and longest drives on two fairways for all grades ,non handicappers and ladies.
Overall winners were Allan’s team including Coen Branford, Jack Grant and Dale Brunsdon. Runners up were Stacy and Dan Broomhead playing with Peter and Tanya Smith.
Longest drives in A grade went to Beau Lavender and Brock Klar. Of the nine nearest the pins Phil Bambury was the only player to win two.
On Tuesday it was Macksville’s turn to host the Mid Coast “Vets”. Winner was Eric Wise well known for his Friday night fundraising in the Nambucca for the Salvo’s. His charitable work has assisted hundreds over many years.
With the Mid week competition continuing to grow this week finished with Steve Riddell winning from Selwyn Branford who was runner up on a count back from Matt Walsh.
The Chook Run finished with Darren Pike the winner and Ali Cunneen runner up.
