SOLITUDE Health sponsored Four Ball Aggregate Stableford needs each player to be “on their game” to come out in front. Obviously Peter Urquhart , net40, picked the right playing mate in Neil Oakes, net 39, combined 79 to win from Peter Smith and Jordan Welsh, net 77. Peter had the best score of the day with a 42.
Individually Max Graham had an eagle 3 on the difficult par five 6th hole.
Tony Adam’s Div1 and Jim Wilkes Div2 were winners of nearest the pins.
The ladies Tuesday Stroke event was won by Cathy Cresswell with big hitting Nikki Laird runner up. Desma Hughes continues to be the straight shooter winning both nearest the pins.
The Mid Week competition continues to draw good fields with Clint Lavender the latest winner with a net 41. Runner up Jake Clarke finished runner up with a net 40.
With the Chook Run being run over two weeks Big Bob Lindsay’s 27 points on Thursday is unlikely to be beaten. He’s likely to be out of the winners circle for a while after handicapper Jeff Gore gets to work.
