45-marker Cindy Wall moosed the 11th and parred the 15th for 39 points to win Div 3 from the youngest Herbert, Maddox (41), on 37.
The ‘Ox’ celebrated his 14th birthday in the comp with 109 off the stick.
It was a bumper field of 111 and so good to hear club Head Professional Paul Habgood on the mic calling the groups to the tee.
The longest putt on the first – worth a stubbie and holder courtesy of Ecomist was claimed by Michael Ziebell. Pin botherers were Thomas McGilvray on 5, Karl Cooper on 7, Drew Glasson on 8, and Adrienne Smith on 15. Young gun Harrison Lee (18) monstered with 43 points to win the Kempsey Toyota Div 1 medley stableford on Tuesday, 23 December.
Seven pars and a bird on the second saw Lee squeak home by a point from the smiling assassin Ken Klem (8).
Klemmy carded a two-over 71 off the stick, with birds on 4, 9, 11 and 17. Wowski.
Port Macquarie’s Patty Gardiner (21) smashed with 41 points to take Div 2 ahead of the in-form Heather Gray on 38.
Steve Doherty took the pin on 5, Liz Hobday on 7, Dean Riordan on 8 and Ashton Herbert on 15. Rod Kinnear pocketed the $50 Pro Pin on 18 and Deidre Fletcher boxed the frisbee on 13.
